A plane with 62 people on board crashed in São Paulo state, Brazil, with President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva stating that it appears all passengers and crew have died. The ATR-72 aircraft, operated by Voepass Linhas Aéreas, was en route from Cascavel to Guarulhos when it crashed near Vinhedo. São Paulo’s fire brigade confirmed the crash and dispatched crews to the scene. Flight data shows the plane dropped 4,000 feet in two minutes before losing its signal.
