In certain areas of the United States, it’s always a good idea to check around and beneath your vehicle to make sure wildlife hasn’t taken refuge there. One kind-hearted woman did just that when she discovered a baby deer peacefully sleeping under the tire of someone else’s car. Concerned for the animal’s safety, she decided to step in.

To alert the car’s owner, the woman left a note, which she later shared on Facebook. Her post quickly went viral, with many people responding with both heartfelt and humorous reactions.

One of the most popular comments came from Joshua Kevin Nye, who joked:

“You can just tell it was an elderly lady, but why? And why didn’t she just yell, ‘Hey! There’s a deer under your tire!’? Looking for some clarity here!”

Another commenter humorously added, “I just hope the driver knows how to read—given how some folks drive these days, you can’t always be sure!”

Amid the playful responses, there were plenty of people who appreciated the woman’s thoughtful action. Cynthia Atkinson expressed her gratitude, saying:

“Thank you for leaving the note, kind woman.”

It’s moments like these that remind us to appreciate those who go out of their way to help, even when they could easily continue with their day.
