Witnesses recall the horrifying scene as Josiah’s mother, overwhelmed with despair, screamed and cried while paramedics fought to save her son. Despite their efforts, Josiah was later pronounced dead at Rady Children’s Hospital. The unimaginable had happened, and the family’s world was shattered beyond belief.
