A Cappella Group Home Free, Lee Greenwood, and US Air Force Band Perform Powerful Rendition of ‘God Bless The USA’
The a cappella group Home Free delivers a stirring rendition of “God Bless The USA,” joined by the iconic Lee Greenwood and The United States Air Force Band.
Originally released by Greenwood in 1984, the song was written in response to his desire to unite the nation, especially after the tragic downing of Korean Air Lines Flight 007. While it initially found success on the country charts, “God Bless The USA” became a patriotic anthem after the September 11th attacks.
With lyrics like, “And I’m proud to be an American, where at least I know I’m free,” the song holds a special place in the hearts of many, honoring those who have sacrificed for the country. Check Video Below!
Home Free, known for their unique a cappella style and as winners of the fourth season of The Sing-Off, is made up of Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp, Tim Foust, and Adam Chance. In this performance, they team up with Lee Greenwood and The United States Air Force Band to create a truly unforgettable tribute to America.
