Cyrus took to Instagram to share a video and photo of the dramatic incident, reassuring fans that despite the scare, everyone on board, including her crew, band, friends, and family, was safe after an emergency landing. Unfortunately, the unexpected turn of events meant that they were unable to make it to Paraguay as planned. Cyrus concluded her post by expressing her love and gratitude to her fans.

The extreme weather conditions in Asunción, including severe floods that led to the cancellation of the festival’s first day, have been attributed to the unusual weather patterns. Some of the festival’s headliners, such as Foo Fighters, Doja Cat, and Machine Gun Kelly, also had to postpone their performances.
