We all love corn on the cob, especially when it’s in season, but boiling it often leaves it lacking in flavor. Luckily, there’s an easier and tastier way to prepare it—using a slow cooker! By steaming the corn in the slow cooker, it retains all of its natural sweetness. Plus, it’s a breeze to make. Just add your favorite seasonings like butter, salt, pepper, or even fresh herbs, and enjoy perfectly cooked corn every time!

Ingredients:

  • 8-10 ears of corn
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Unsalted butter, to taste
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs or green onion, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Place corn in the slow cooker and add 1/3 cup of water.
  2. Cook on HIGH for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, until the corn is tender and bright yellow.
  3. Remove with tongs, then season with salt, pepper, butter, lemon juice, and herbs.
  4. Serve immediately and enjoy!
