As summer approaches, Rihanna has introduced the ultimate beach bag essential: the Hydra Vizor Huez from her Fenty Skin brand. The Grammy Award winner, 36, shared a tutorial on Instagram Monday, demonstrating how to apply the new tinted moisturizer.
In the video, Rihanna described the product as “a tinted moisturizer” and “a mineral SPF 30 sunscreen.” She explained, “With this, I can stay protected and have a natural dew glow in my complexion.”
Rihanna highlighted that Huez “works as a daily moisturizer under your makeup, or you can just wear this out as your little no-makeup makeup look.” She added with a playful note, “And if you don’t use sunscreen, you got me SPF’d up.”
Despite its range of 10 shades like a foundation, Rihanna applied Huez casually with her fingers, emphasizing its ease of use as a moisturizer. She previously called Huez “the new must-have of the summer,” adding, “But I’m probably gonna be using it forever!”
Rihanna wrote, “Once you try it, it’s a bit addictive tbh, lol! The creaminess, the shades, the experience while applying, the end result.” She also noted that Huez “works seamlessly under makeup” and leaves “nooo white cast.”
This tutorial video follows Rihanna’s recent trip to China, where she connected with fans while promoting Fenty Beauty. “Shanghai!! You have my heart,” she raved on Instagram, sharing images from the trip.
“To all of my incredible Chinese fans, it was such an honor to meet some of you and connect with all of you through our love for makeup!”
Rihanna launched Fenty Beauty in 2017, eventually expanding to include Savage X Fenty lingerie and Fenty Skin under the LVMH brand. Her success with Fenty Beauty propelled her to billionaire status in 2021, making her the world’s wealthiest female musician.
Meanwhile, fans are eagerly awaiting Rihanna’s long-anticipated ninth studio album. In an interview with Interview Magazine last month, she revealed that she has “a lot of visual ideas” but is still working on the new music.
“It’s weird. My brain is working backward right now,” she explained. “I usually have the music first, and the music leads me into all of these visual opportunities, and now I’m having all of these visuals, and I don’t have the songs for them yet, but maybe that’s the key this time,” added RiRi.
