Cardi B announced her separation from husband Offset in a recent Instagram Live stream. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper, 31, stated that she’s been “single for a minute now.”
This news comes amid rumors of infidelity surrounding Offset, which he has denied.
“I don’t care to find out because I’ve been single for a minute now,” Cardi said during the livestream. “I just don’t know how to tell the world, but I feel like today has been a sign.”
Cardi and Offset, both 31, have had an on-again, off-again relationship since marrying in 2017. They share two children together, daughter Kulture (5) and son Wave (2). Offset has three other children from previous relationships.
Cardi expressed a desire for a fresh start. “I want to start 2024 fresh, open,” she said. “I’m curious for a new life, for a new beginning. I’m excited.”
