During the New York stop of the ‘Hot Girl Summer’ tour, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and GloRilla thrilled fans with a sneak peek of a new song.
CHECK VIDEO BELOW:
Megan Thee Stallion has released several singles since her 2022 album ‘Traumatize‘. She kicked off the year with ‘Hiss‘ and recently released ‘Boa‘, featuring a Gwen Stefani sample and a video game-themed music video.
The lyrics to ‘Hiss’ (“These hoes don’t be mad at Megan / These hoes mad at Megan’s Law”) sparked a response from Nicki Minaj with the song ‘Big Foot’, referencing Megan being shot in the foot by Tory Lanez in 2020. The mention of Megan’s Law, which requires public access to information about registered sexual offenders, led fans to believe Megan was calling out Minaj, whose husband Kenneth Petty is a registered sex offender. Cardi B is expected to release her second album this year, despite telling fans she was “relaxing this summer”. This album would come six years after her debut, ‘Invasion Of Privacy’. Megan Thee Stallion kicked off the North American leg of her ‘Hot Girl Summer’ tour earlier this month in Minneapolis. She and GloRilla will continue performing in cities like Baltimore, New Orleans, and Houston before concluding the tour in Las Vegas on June 22. Megan will then tour the UK and Europe without GloRilla, starting in Glasgow on July 4 and ending at London’s O2 Arena on July 17. Thee Stallion will also make an extra stop in Washington, DC to perform at the Broccoli City Festival. Check here for any available tickets for the US and Europe shows.
