Why You Shouldn’t Have Sex on the First Date

I recently came across an article suggesting that having sex on the first date is a good idea. While I’m open-minded, I wasn’t convinced. Here’s why I think it’s better to wait:

  1. Sexual Compatibility Isn’t Everything: Sure, it’s important, but if your personalities don’t click, why bother? Focus on finding someone you connect with first.
  2. Size Isn’t the Only Thing That Matters: Bigger doesn’t always mean better. What matters more is how you connect outside the bedroom.
  3. Sexual Tension Can Be Exciting: Building anticipation makes the experience more satisfying. Waiting can make that first time even better.
  4. Dress for Yourself: Whether or not you’ve had sex, your appearance should be about what makes you feel good, not about impressing him.
  5. Don’t Rush: Good things take time. Waiting can make the experience more meaningful and reduce the chances of regret.

Ultimately, waiting to have sex can be rewarding, and it helps you learn more about the other person. If they respect your decision to wait, that’s a good sign for the future.May be an image of textMay be an image of text
